Mussels in white wine sauce with garlic toast for dipping in the broth for a late lunch.
For tomorrow I am taking Sunday supper to my father in laws.
We are having buttermilk fried chicken, baked mac and cheese, homemade sage dressing, deviled eggs and tomato salad.
We had salmon w/ general Tao's sauce with potato medley w/ shrimp for tonights dinner.
I made taco's for Sunday's dinner.
1 lb. ground beef
green bell pepper, chopped
small onion, chopped
one can of mild magic chili beans
1/3 cup mild salsa
one taco-seasoning pac
1/4 cup of water mixed into ingredients
I used hard-taco shells
topped off w/ sharp cheddar cheese-grated Cookie
Today I made more stuffed peppers in the crockpot. Trying to use up the last of them.
I also made Jon teriyaki shrimp. We went to the local chinese restaurant here in town for lunch. They are not even close to the one a few counties over but today they were decent. I was in the mood for wonton soup.

1 1/2 Bags of Salad w/ Caesar Lite Dressing w/ croûtons
1 can pitted black olives
1 can of chic-peas
1 small carton of fresh mushrooms
MIX IN-
2 Tbs. of parmesan cheese
1 pkg. southwestern style short-cuts (Perdue) carved Chicken Breast
Lets see ..I have not cooked much the past fews days. We have been busy so it has been sandwiches alot. I prepared the mixture last night to make homemade ice cream today. I used the milky way ice cream recipe I posted here. It should be divine cause the mixture tasted delish! I also made a dutch apple pie late last night.
Tuesday Night was Pesto Pizza w/ Chicken, Italian Fennel Sausage, Mushrooms, and Artichoke Hearts. Wednesday night? You guessed it- COLD PESTO PIZZA! I also have a B-Day Cake to make for a co-worker... she requested Chocolate Cake w/ a Bailey's Irish Creme Frosting I make a lot... so I'll proll'y be lickin' the bowl a lot while decorating the cake, as well!
Cream butter and cream cheese together in the bowl of an electric mixer, using the paddle attachment.
Add Bailey's.
Add powdered sugar and mix until perfectly-blended and spreadable consistency. (I add a package of mini chocolate chips before spreading onto the cake- YUMMY! )
Supper tonight was a "doggy-bag" special... went to a steakhouse w/ friends last night and shared a big ol appetizer platter, then had a med-rare ribeye w/ huge salad, rolls, and a loaded baked sweet potato. Didn't touch the sweet 'tater so brought it home and nuked it tonight w/ a couple strips of bacon and a few green beans.
I smoked a three pound brisket in the stovetop smoker last night. I had a rub on it for two days and used mesquite chips. Gonna have it today with some balsamic roasted roma tomatoes for a side.
Today we had smoked brisket with mac and cheese for lunch.
For supper I roasted some large shrimp in the oven I had marinaded in olive oil, garlic, herbs de provence, salt & pepper.
Tomorrow I plan to roast a chicken and Sunday we are doing dinner with the FIL. I am planning to fry cod filets and shrimp. I am also making hush puppies, slaw and onion rings.
Tonight we had Hot Wings (ours are the best seasoned I can not stand to eat them anywhere anymore ours are so delicious and falling off the bones tender), Huge Salad, and Garlic Bread
Tomorrow I am making Lobster Thermador. Haven't made this in FOREVER!!!!
