breakfast

On weekdays I have either toast with PB or yogurt and fresh fruit. One meal of the day has got to be a quickie. :) On either Sat. or Sun. I prepare a big breakfast -- pancakes or waffles, bacon, etc.

LOL all this talk about food is making me hungry, I keep picturing them in my mind, hehe. I like the American breakfast, but they never get me full, so I usually eat fried rice and sunny side up eggs and dried fish, tomatoes and sometimes beef jerky or Filipino sausage.

I am lazy. If I don't have a blueberry muffin, then I have a bowl of special k with red berries. I loooove that stuff.

Oh I love cereal too now. My favorite cereal is honey nut cheerios. Special K is good too especially because it is healthy. I also like frosted flakes

I just thought of another breakfast that i like. I like english muffins with peanut butter spreaded on them. Yummmmmmm. Or english muffins with cream cheese and jelly. With orange juice to drink.

Wow, I'm hungry as I'm reading this thread. We're from Texas so occasionally, not often as we're watching Mr. Cholesterol, we like chorizo(spicy Mexican sausage) that is crumbled and cooked in a fry pan to which you add eggs and then cook and serve in warmed wrapped tortillas, hot sauce, etc.

My favorite breakfast is sausage, bacon and poached eggs. We always have rice too. For breakfast, it's always fried rice.

First question I have is what happened to the frugal gormet I enjoyed him very much, you said he ran into some trouble? I would like to learn how to make a good sour dough starter, I have never done it before, I would also like to learn how to use it properly as well. I love sourdough pancakes and bread. if somebody could help me out in that regard I would truly be thankful.

If I make a "nice" breakfast, it's usually waffles of some sort. But every once in a while I get a craving for an english muffin with a scrambed egg & a slice of cheese.

We're not big breakfast people and the usual meal is cold cereal or instant oatmeal (or a handful of animal crackers)

Over Christmas we had some houseguests and I tried to have some muffins and cereal on hand, so I got spoiled with having food handy.

Now that life is back to normal, I guess I need to be more diligent in having ready to eat breakfasts even though I am back at work after the holidays.
