I love putting chocolate chips in my pancakes. The kids love them too. My favorite is a Star Dust Chocolate Pancake recipe.

I have tried putting or making a chocolate pancakes. When I always make those pancakes with chocolates, it really stick in in the pan. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendation on how to cook it without sticking in the pan? Thanks!

So Mama, how do you do it? I do it usually, when the starts to bubble. I start to put chocolate chip on top of the pancakes. When I turn it upside down to cook the other side, that's the time the chocolate melt and begins to stick. :(

this is difficult - I don't know what batter you use - how hot your griddle/skillet is - if you are using oil or spray - how thick your batter is - etc.

what batter are you using?

I'm using bisquick for the mix. And I make my pancake for atleast 1/3 inch thickness and I use oil. Does my procedure in putting the chocolate chips is right?

I sprinkle mine on the batter just when they begin to bubble - some incorporate the chips in the batter before placing on the griddle. I use oil and I use a hot griddle.

Hmm, that sounds good. I will try doing how you do it and see if it will taste different with how I do it.
