Craigslist Listing Disappeared After Posting

Posted an ad on Craigslist, and everything looked fine at first, but when I checked later, the listing was gone. No email saying it was removed, and I didn’t violate any policies. Just wondering if this happens sometimes due to a glitch or if certain ads get flagged automatically?

A while back, I put up a listing for some furniture I was selling, and within a few hours, it just vanished. No warning, no flag, just gone. Thought I might’ve made a mistake, but after checking around, craigslist customer service mentioned that sometimes posts get auto-removed if the system thinks they’re duplicates or look suspicious—even when they’re totally legit. I ended up tweaking the wording and reposting, and it stuck the second time. I always keep a backup of my listing text so I don’t have to rewrite everything if it randomly disappears again.
