Janie, if you don't stop showing off those babies I'm gonna get very upset.
It don't look like we'll ever be grandparents. Elder son says "It's not on my agenda!" And the younger's wife cannot have kids. Darn! And I already had the drum set picked out, and the thousand piece Leggos, and....." Ah, well.
I don't like small dogs, myself. I'm always afraid I'm going to hurt them. Intellectually I know they're just as tough (sometimes tougher---my aunt used to raise Pekinese). But my gut just doesn't believe it.
Although I've had all sorts of dogs, through the years, I've only had bird dogs the past quarter century. Right now it's Gwynn, a Lewellen Setter with a nose that won't quit.
The only dogs I object to are the new "designer" breeds. It's not the dogs that bother me, it's the breeders. Talk about marketing hype: people have actually come up with a way of selling mutts for thousands of dollars.
