Mama would have taught him thats for sure.
If I was outside in the yard mowing or doing something people we know would go by and blow the horn and wave. Well I was out there once and this jerk blew the horn and I didnt even look up..thinking it was someone we knew I threw my hand up and waved and kept mowing the grass. Well that was all it took to get the creep started I guess because I had never so much as spoken to the jerk. When I told my Dad what was going on he was sober and seemed to think it was hilarious. Later the same night he was drunk and decided he was going to be the protective Dad and do something about it. Booze built up his courage I guess...I told worthless to go to bed and sleep it off. I waited a couple weeks to see if he would leave me alone but he just kept getting worse. The letter from the county attorney had no effect.
Thats when my older brothers got involved. Took them a couple days to catch him in the act but they did. Just to impress upon him they meant it the oldest brother saw the guy out on his tractor right across from our house a couple days later and my brother pulled the guy off the tractor and told him he had been in jail once and didnt care to go back. He pretty much told him he would kill him if he didnt leave me alone. After that I had no more problems. I have never been close to my brother because he is always up to something crooked and in and out of jail but I will always be grateful to him for that one.
After that I stopped waving at anyone who went by. During the whole thing I was torn between fear and being ****ed off. I carried a ball bat in my backseat for years after that and always had a knife in my pocket. After I got engaged to Jon I gave him the two pocket knives I used to carry lol. He has one and he gave his Dad the other. It took me years to stop looking in my rear view every sec. From some of the horror stories I have read I guess I got off pretty easy with my stalker.
