Ferrets are soooo cute, but a little "stinky" even when they have been demusked. I had a pet Skunk when I was growing up, he was de-scented but he always had that odor a little bit, to this day  I still  find the faint smell of a skunk pleasant! It brings back memories of our "Stinky". He starred in some Disney movies before we got custody of him, man did he love to lay on his back in our laps and have his belly rubbed! We let him spend the night one night in our chicken coupe [BIG MISTAKE!!!] when we woke the next day and went out there all that was left of our 2 chickens were the skeltons!!!!:D Old Stinky loved that night!!! And he gained at least 12 lbs. that night

True Story!!!

I had a ferret for years. They are fun, but a lot of work. I must have been one of the lucky ones. My ferret didn't smell bad at all.
