It's holiday time -

This year we went to Croatia on vacation and I am now completely spoiled by the figs we had there. We would just walk down the road and pick fresh figs of the trees. They were as sweet as honey. I do love a compote of dried figs and rosemary on a sandwich of black forrest ham and brie. Now that is heaven.
