Popcorn

makes a very sloppy sammie - drips all over - never met an Italian that didn't eat these over the sink!

I know exactly what ya mean Mama I always ate mine over the sink or at the very least a plate to catch the juice. I grew my own tomatoes and they were just as juicy and sweet as could be, so no matter how you sliced and served them they were flowing with juice!!! OH SO GOOD!:p

try this - been eating this for almost 6 decades -

chunk tomatoes, chunk onions, drizzle with olive oil, season to taste with salt and pepper - that's it - just stir it up and let it sit on the counter for about 1/2 hour - it makes it's own dressing that you sop up with crusty Italain bread - it's to die for!

I prefer Roma tomatoes and Vidalia onions - but dang - any tomatoes and onions work for me

I make the same thing but I add just a splash of red wine vinegar.
