These are really easy and quite tasty. Will make these tonight and serve them with salad. :) They freeze very well, BTW.

2 cups bread crumbs
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1/2 cup minced onion
2 cans tuna
1 cup consomme
2 eggs
1/2 cup mayonaise
2 Tbsp. mustard
2 tsp. poultry seasoning, optional
Corn flake crumbs

Mix all ingredients. Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in corn flake
crumbs. Bake at 450 degrees F until lightly browned. Makes 75. Can be
frozen.

That sounds good. It would be really bad for you but you might use a brading and try deep frying. that might be good too.

Yeah....I bet it would be good if they were breaded and fried. Maybe serve with a little tartar sauce....not sure.

Poor Girl & Bag you are right -- these would be great deep fried. In fact I might try that sometime. I don't make that much deep fried food so once in a while can't hurt.

And the tartar sauce? Excellent idea, thank you. :)

That has me craving them right now. I am going to have to try this and let you know how they are. If someone else tries the deepfry....let me know.

Thanks for that information.
I will try it when i will be alone in house.

I eat far to much tuna when i diet down so tuna is not a first choice for a meal for me. But does sound like a good recipe

LOL That is a very good idea -- if the food turns out great, well, it's all yours. If not, out it goes and no one is the wiser that you've wasted money on ingredients or almost caused a five alarm fire with your experimentation. :)

I don't like tuna (anymore), and I don't like balls. No matter what kind of ball it is, I don't like it. I wonder why I stopped liking tuna, since I did enjoy it for awhile.

Chili, way too hot and spicy. If there is a food and it is a little spicy, I don't want it. Don't even want to be in the VACINITY of it.

What is 'consomme'? I've never heard of it.

And i bet it would be even tastier if you used Panko instead of regular bread crumbs!

Those look a lot like something that my mom used to make. She didn't leave them in balls though, she flattened them out & made tuna patties. They were really good. :)
