:D He will love the Barney wallpaper & song!!! :D

Thank Goodness you did not get the darn virus! Heck I never even heard of a trojan where computers are concerned at least:) At first I thought ya' meant 500 of the other kind:o I was wondering what kind of wierd person would keep them in their computer:D Needless to say I had a great snicker when I was imagining that LOL!

I hate all the wires that run to and from computers much less any other electronics! My fiance he loves all things electronic and techno! I find it all to be very over-whelming. Give me a basic plug in and I'm happy!

Glad you survived!

After Jon had me reload the computer he is working on for his brother a third time I needed to vent or kill. Sitting for hours loading windows and other programs then he decides to change hardware again and start all over gets old after three times. Plus dealing with the happy drunk on top of it. That all takes hours and I dont spend that kind of time on my own computer. He enjoys it..I do not. I would much prefer being in the kitchen.
It always seems like everyone kills their computer at the same time and its all we get done for weeks at a time.

By the way KYH a trojan is a nasty little program hackers use to send out all of their little viruses. They love to send themselves to anyone in your address book in Outlook Express. Trojans are mostly used to transmit viruses. Hackers love to use them to gain access to your computer and personal information like social security numbers which they can use for identity theft. Some viruses are designed to damage computers by deleting data or even destroying hardware. Some hackers run programs that constantly test random computer ports for weakness. If you were to run a program that monitored outside probes on your IP address you would probably faint. I have at one time and was stunned. There is no antivirus program made that can catch them all. Hackers are constantly making new and more virulant viruses every day. I always try and disuade people from keeping any personal info on their computers like banking records.

This is the last post in Janie's computer class 101. Sorry to get so way off topic. :o

It's Ok you got way off the subject; but the whole thing is super scarrey. I do not at all like this hacker & virus stuff, much less those trojans!!! I am glad that today is over for you, and I can see how it'd be frustrating! I've never liked that electronics stuff to begin with. But I guess you are very knowledgeable in the subject and that is a good thing. You can begin your very own web-site one day!!! And thank you for the advice on keeping safe from these hackers & their virus's!
