Whats your age?

I don't think tans, even from a tanning salon, are worth that. A couple of my friends go to a tanning salon before swimsuit season, even though they don't wear bathing suits that often. I would much rather be pasty & pale from lack of sun than get skin cancer & risk leaving my family behind. Ya know??

Yes I know what you mean this is the way that I look at it also plus it also will make you look older than you really are.
 
Just turned 35 and haven't been to a tanning salon in 15 years...though I can't say I've always been good with the sunscreen that whole time.

Glad to know that I am not the only one here in my 30s I will be 33 in dec. and I do not use sunscreen nether but I really need to. I do use anti aging stuff for my face tho but I use the cheap kind the vit. e cream from dollar store but it seems to work really good tho.
 
I just turned 28. I have started using the oil of olay total effects stuff

Yep, phoenyxstarr, I do hear you--I'm not pasty white but I'm not brown either. If I could be tanned and not worry about cancer I would but that scare with the flaky patch on my forehead AFTER all the precautions that I had been taking over the years to avoid the sun, wear 30+ sunscreen, etc., and to learn that it was a pre-cancerous lesion sent me over the top. Our once protective ozone layer is not what it used to be so more hazardous rays are getting through and skin cancer rates have soared especially among young people. Many reputable tanning salons will regulate how much you are allowed to tan--it's worth the extra bucks if you are truly interested in being safe. Also, for those of you who want a cheaper version of a very good antiwrinkle cream WalMart sells their own Equate brand "Anti-Wrinkle Cream" which is a multi-vitamin facial treatment with Pro-retinol. It's a great moisturizer under your make-up and does not clog the pores. So you won't get pimples using it. Yep, I'm 53 and still get pimples---can you believe it?? OH, and WM is not paying me to recommend their product--everyone is on a budget these days.:D
 
I am 23 & I love it. LOL I've been married for 3 years & the only kids I have at the moment are furry! :p

LOL your funny I am 32 almost 33 so I am glad that I am not only one here that is older. Most everyone is so young.
 
My Age

O my..I am getting older..Well right now I am 41 ..in two days I will be 42..so ..How old am I? LOL
 
53 here. I don't mind the age. Anyway...all you have to do when you get older is add on 20 years...then everyone will think you look great! Yes, maam...I'm 73.

Age used to bother me. It doesn't so much anymore. What is age, anyway? It's just a number. I think it's more about what age you *feel* than what age you *are*. That's just my 2 cents worth. :)
 
Tomorrow I will be 42 ..Am enjoying the last day of 41.. Wonder wil it be cold tomorrow..Some people are saying maybe I will get my wish for snow on my birthday..Happened already once in my whole lifetime.. It snowed on my birthday before..but that is when I lived in Indiana..near the lakefront..We were about mile from Lake Michigan
 
I just turned 40 last week. But my mom was quick to remind me when I turned 39 that it was my 40th year. So it is all just a number game!
 
Strange..even though I turned 42 today..My pastor told me before I was already in my 42nd year..so the day just marks the end of the year..and the beginning of another year.
 
Age is a number, nothing more, nothing less. Well that's how I feel anyway. It can be useful when you have children & they are little, this way you know how they are developing compared to other kids & whether they are behind/ahead/whatever.

I am 43 and agree that it is just a number. What really matters is what you are doing with your life. :)
