I'm right there w/ ya Cookie! With the holiday being next week, I figure I'll certainly have myself tired-out of turkey after 4-5 meals of it... not to mention heavy cooking... so tonight I had my young nephew and one of his buds over to watch the new Indiana Jones movie- we ordered pizza & wings... Then tomorrow I'm having frineds over for fish tacos... right now anything that is not turkey is what interests me! Don't want to ruin my appetite for it next week!

I'm making Ham with Sweet potatoes and mac-cheese with deviled eggs and salad.
Pumpkin raisin cake with cream cheese frosting with Cinnamon on top is for desert!

I bought my stuff on Friday so that's Good. I will miss Turkey, though it's so Good!

Changed our minds after we did our shopping yesterday and bought Turkey at just .79 cents per Lb. could not pass on that bargain!!! Boy is it ever COLD here br-r-r-r, but makes one feel like the holidays are upon us Eddie names his turkey's each year and this year it is "IVAN" ! As long as he is terribly delicious I don't mind naming my bird!

It is 18 degrees this morning. Jon and I just got back from the store getting the rest of what I needed. I wanted to get the stuff to make a chocolate roll cake with bavarian cream filling. I got some disposable deli cups with lids while I was there to put the sides in so I wont have to pack off my tupperware. They had cream cheese 4/$5 so I stocked up. I want to take a block of it along to dinner with some pepper jelly on it.

I used to love this on crackers also put a splash of Pic-A-Peppa sauce on with the cream cheese and pepper jelly! M-m-m-m good! Wow 18 degrees is COOLDDDDDD yikes You do know I hate winter don't ya? hee-hee

I went to the Perdue game last weekend. Everyone wanted to go to the tail gait. It never even got above freezing. BRRRRRRR! I thought I would freeze to death.

I got my Thanksgiving groceries yesterday so I am all set. I have the same idea it seems as everyone else. I made a big pot of sausage soup, a loaf of corn bread and some salad dressing. That's going to be dinner every night till Thanksgiving.

I have never been to a Tail-Gate party are they fun? Yours sounded cold! I did a Pot Roast last night we will eat off of it tonight as well then chili on Wed night nothing fixed here will remotely resembel Thanksgiving affair until the Big Day
