Recipe: Cranberry Sherbet Balls

- 1 pound cranberries
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 18 marshmallows
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- Cook cranberries in water until tender. Press through a sieve.
- Add sugar, and cinnamon; stir until it dissolves. Heat marshmallows in 1/2 cup of the strained cranberries until half melted. Combine with remaining cranberries, orange juice, and lemon juice and blend well.

Put in freezer tray without the grid and stir several times during freezing period.

Using an ice cream scoop, prepare sherbet balls in advance and freeze.
Makes about 24 sherbet balls.
