3 sticks butter
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
6 eggs
3 cups sugar
3 cups unbleached* King Arthur or Pillsburg All Purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp lemon extract
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Cream together butter and cheese
3. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well.
4. Add sugar. Beat well.
5. Combine flour and baking powder, then add a little at a time to the creamed mixture. Mix well.
6. Add vanilla and lemon extract. Mix until batter is smooth.
7. Grease a bundt cake pan, and pour in batter.
8. Bake 1 1/2 hours. Remove from oven, and allow to cool.
*Unbleached flour is naturally whitened by aging. Bleached flour is chemically treated and may alter taste of foods. King Arthur and Pillsbury All Purpose Unbleached flours are our favorite flours for all around taste and texture.
