- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup sour milk
- 1/2 cup Hershey’s Cocoa
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Cream eggs, butter, and sugar. Beat well.
- Dissolve baking soda in boiling water and pour into a large mixing bowl.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Pour the batter into greased and floured cake pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
- Ice with Chocolate Icing.
