Simple and easy to make, use these dumplings with beef or lamb stew. Great with soups too. Add to soup or stew instead of biscuits or crackers. Uses very little butter so it's much more healthy than homemade biscuits.
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp softened butter
- Beef or Cheiken Broth
- Mix flour and baking powder together.
- Beat egg along with add milk, then add to flour mix, along with butter; Mix well.
- Heat the beef or chicken broth to a boil.
- Drop the dumpling mix by the tablespoon full into the hot broth and cook about 18 to 20 minutes.
