- 1 large slice bread
- butter
- grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Butter the bread with butter.
- Break up the bread and dot with more butter.
- Put in greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle cheese on top.
- Beat together the eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
- Pour over cheese.
- Bake 30 minutes.
