I would be completely happy if no one ever used a cell phone again - they are great in the event of a true emergency, but other than that, I think they are bad in so many ways. Remember the days, before cell phones, when you'd take a ride in the car, and actually think about things going on in your life, or notice the beautiful passing scenery, or even (good heavens!) roll down the window for some fresh air?
AND - I agree with you Mama (et al) - spamming is beyond annoying.
We all want to share our ideas, that is why we are here, I suppose.
But please don't spam! It wastes everyone's time and energy.

Wow, I am new here and am not sure how to respond to this. I have posted recipes and have interacted with other forum members and so far, have really enjoyed this place.
I also just started a blog, and believe me, I am new to all this. My last couple of posts, I put a link to my blog, in case anyone was interested in viewing it. I am certainly not trying to push anything on anyone.
If someone finds that offensive, I can assure you that was never my intention.

I liked your blog Kathy. In no way did I find anything about it offensive.
We do have spammers though that come onto SP and start placing adds on the forums right away. Those are the type of individuals that get everyone ticked off around here.
