Yeah, I'd love to find a portable electric griddle that's about 16" x 20". That's a nice size, and would let me cook nice breakfasts in one pan. I always admire the larger ones I see at cafes. Not sure if I'd want a non-stick one. A nice quality steel griddle would be great. Honestly, I haven't looked around for one, so my dream could exist somewhere :)

Bon Jour makes one that is reversible grill/griddle 22 X 13.
BroilKing has an extra large one - 21 X 12 and a professional one that is the same size.
Presto makes a 19-inch grill and a more expensive one that is 23 X 17.
Most grills are 19 - 21 inches and about 12 inches wide.

Presto is not bad and it would cost you around $50-60.

I never had an electric skillet but I did once own and use an electric wok. During my single days of living alone in an apartment it came in quite handy. I made a lot of fried rice and beef and snow peas. It was easy to use and easy to cleanup.

I also have a small Coleman propane skillet that I camp with. It uses those small propane cylinders. We use it to cook breakfast on the beach.

What does an electric skillet do? I can't see how the electric part could come in, unless it heats up or something.
