Thanks for the update guys! I did a sweet potato one day at work and I really did it wrong! I still ate it though and figured next time I would improve the technique.

I only use our microwave to reheat left overs, melt butter, and heat that canned Ravioli junk for my husband.

I've done potatoes in it but I never like the texture they have afterward.
