If you are a Mac & Cheese lover, try some of these ideas:

PREPARED MAC AND CHEESE ADD ONS:

Add each set of suggestions to a prepared box of macaroni and cheese--

cooked/diced chicken + broccoli + 2 t. mustard

cooked ground beef + stewed tomatoes + 1 t. chili powder

cooked ground beef + green pepper + 1/2 c. barbecue sauce

cooked/diced chicken + stewed tomatoes + 1/3 c. green pepper

ham + peas + 1 t. mustard

Italian sausage + broccoli + 1/4 c. red pepper

Grated cheese (in addition to that which is in it)

:p

Yep, taco soup but with rice and diced chicken instead of ground beef and ranch dressing. shhh! my husband thinks it's a separate dish from taco soup, so I can make them both in one week and he won't complain that I'm serving him a duplicate meal. ;)

Hehe. That sounds like our house; sometimes I get a comment about how some dish is similar to another, but yet they actually are different.

And who can forget the classic mac and cheese add-on: cut up hot dogs.

Kid food, yes, but sometimes we just need to rediscover our roots. :D

I think that steamed snow crabs legs and corn on the cob are quite easy to make. And if they're on sale, the snow crab legs are quite cheap. I serve teh crab legs with a little melted butter and a dash of lemon juice.

One of my favorite easy things to make is quesadillas.

Just brown some ground beef and add taco seasoning according to the package directions.

Place a tortilla on a skillet or griddle, sprinkle some cheese on, and then some taco meat. Add a little more cheese, then another tortilla.

Cook until starting to brown on the bottom, then flip it over and do the other side.
