hey - homemade bread can look anyway it wants in my book - it's the taste that is important - slather on the butter and enjoy with hot tea - or savor it as you "taste" you sauce while it's cooking -

anyone here ever see Fatso with Dom DeLuise? he stands at the stove dipping the homemade bread in the big pot of sauce to see if it tastes good?

just give me the loaf of bread and the pot of sauce and I have a complete meal
