Hi Shipscook,
Good to hear from you. I like you read cookbooks like novels! There is one of our own Spice Place members that had his own cookbook done for family gifts at Christmas and he let us know about them and I bought one and have enjoyed it so much I had to buy my baby sister in Vermont her own copy! It's Jafo, you see a photo of his Cookbook as his avatar, when he posts here!
My all time favorite cookbooks were something I found in an antique shop, and bought them for their artwork, they are called "A Basket of Apples" and "A Basket of Berries" by Val Archer. The watercolor paintings that grace each page are exqusite! (I did a customer review on the "Basket of Berries" in Amazon's website, if ya' wanna check it out.) I love them for the art work most of all:)
Hey JG how's that cookbook - "The Foods You Crave" seem to be? It sounds interesting.
Well I just thought I'd pass the word on about Jafo's cookbook and the wonderful little artistic treasures I found!
Cheers, Cathy
