Speaking of sauces, no one can compare with the spaghetti sauce especially with cheese and garlic and onion and spices..try it.

I always make my own sauces, not because I'm so into homemade, but to keep the sodium down. If it wasn't for that stinking restriction I would pull a jar of Prego down now and then.

Most of my family thinks I don't eat beef. When in reality I do. I don't particularly enjoy it but I got tired of making two meals at home. My husband is a "meatatarian" and from the time I was like 7 or 8 until I was 21, I never ate red meat. I was pregnant when I started eating ground beef and haven't stopped since then.

I used boxed cake mix (but added some special stuff to it) to make my daughters birthday cake. Everyone thought I made it from scratch and I didn't let them think otherwise.

I hide stuff in Jon's food all of the time and don't tell him about it. He is very picky.

I think that very few people in the UK make their own sauces. Particularly pasta sauces. In fact, the sauce isle is usually one of the biggest in most supermarkets. And it is no wonder. Because all the famous TV chefs, in the UK. Instead of advocating, making your own, have taken to endorsing commercially made brands. Having their face and name spread all over the jar.
