Yes - history is going to be made with this administration - and it has nothing to do with race, color, creed, religion, etc. - it is the state of this country and the hell we are going through.

I don't care if Mickey Mouse is our president as long as he improves our economy - for ALL - not just the rich - but the poor too.

Maybe the "powers that be" should be dragged around...........maybe it will loosen up a few brain cells and make they think wisely for a change.

I watched from 10Am to Midnight. I have to admit it's the only one I've ever taken time to watch. I hope he will remember the saying "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime." They can bail out whoever they want to but if they don't make them accountable for getting themselves in this predicament and make them also accountable for how they spend their "free" money, nothing will change. Citigroup just took 50 million of their bailout money and bought a 12 seater airplane for top executives. How irresponsible is that?
A news article this morning says that the proposed bailout money has some great:( earmarks already: 500,000 for a dog park in California, 30,000 for a city (I can't remember where) to make all public toilets automatically flush, the list went on and on.
I don't envy President Obama, but pray he holds true to his campaign ideologies

Hi Dixie Girl!

Been missing you here lately! Welcome back:)

It is terrible that those in charge of the finances would be so irresponsible, good Lord how do they imagine they got to where they are at:confused:
RE: Obama like you I do hope he will hold true to his promises. But you know how that often goes, I gave up year ago believing "campaign promises"! I still wish him the very best and will hope for the best.

Thanks for coming back and paying us a visit! Hope you had lovely holidays!

Cathy
