Congrats on an extra special family!
I must have been a failure. We gave my son a gas grill 2 years ago for Christmas and my DIL uses it more then he does. At least he knows how to pick girls.

Well - he may be smarter than you think!
I bought my dad a big beautiful grill for Father'sDay one year - smart man - he'd start the fire and let mom and I do all the cooking - "Mr. Grillmaster" was smart enough to only occasionally make hotdogs - that was it. He played stupid - why? He knew who the good cooks were. and he loved being spoiled by us! He wasn't going to lose out on a good thing.
