It's really hard to change a tranny pan on a car so low to the ground. Even with jacking it into the air and putting supports under it. Most Transmission repair centers have free towing around here. I hope the same is for you there.

None of the places here have free towing. Jon's brother and Dad will probably just pull it to the garage with his brothers truck. I dont want them trying to jack it up and fix it. That is just not safe.

FIL came up today and took off the old pan. He and Jon had to have it to match the bolt pattern for the new one. That is a part you cannot even get at the parts store you have to get it straight from the vehicle manufacturer. Luckily a junk yard about 2 miles from here had one they were able to get for $25. The garage where Jon's brother works is gonna fix it tomorrow. The wrecker just left with it towing it to the shop.
My FIL is so good to us both. He has paid for this whole thing. He took off that old pan in a cold rain. I hope he doesnt get sick.
I can just hear the jokes probably going on about women drivers when Im not around.

I'm back on the road. They were able to get my car in before closing.
lol They accidently locked my keys inside and had to come get another one.
