There are no eggs, bread or milk in a 200 nmile square radius. Lol. I see people making a lot of French Toast in the near future.

IC - don't you just love the panic shoppers!

It happens all the time here.

One year when we were finally allowed to drive on the roads - we had to drive all the way to PA to get food! That is the year we had no power, heat, water, phones for over a week!

Everything that was refrigerated and frozen before the storm had to be tossed. I had freezers and a 500 lb. chest freezer loaded! FEMA came to town - never did a thing for us - they said if you want a hot meal - call the Red Cross. And I had just stocked the freezers for the winter months 2 days before the storm hit.

Isnt it funny how people think they can survive anything with milk, bread and eggs in the fridge. It is the same way here.
We got about 4 inches of snow last night. My mother in law postponed her holiday dinner til Sun instead of Sat. We are supposed to get 2 more inches tonight but it is 32 degress so I dont think it is gonna stick. Tons of people are without electric.
Im going to have to get over to SAMS tomorrow and get a few last things I need for the holiday dinners.

I quess I'd better not complain about our mounting snow drifts here in northern Louisiana. :D We did actually have snow the first part of December but with temps in the high 30's nothing was sticking but on the car hoods.

It's up to my knee is Southern Maryland. I just used a tape measure and measured my leg... it's 18".

This was taken about 5 hours after my truck was cleaned off the first time...

And this is our PT Cruiser about 12 hours into the storm
