Harvard Beets Ingredients
- 5 pkgs Sweet n Low
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp salt
- dash pepper
- 1 pt red beets - reserve juice
- 1/4 cup vinegar
To make Harvard Beets
- In small saucepan, stir together Sweet n Low, cornstarch, salt and pepper.
- Measure beet juice and add water to make 2/3 cup of liquid.
- Gradually stir in liquid and vinegar.
- Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
- Boil and stir 1 minute.
- Stir in beets; heat through.
