2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 pint sour cream
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1/4 cup grated Cheddar cheese for mixture
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce1/4 to 1/2 cup milk to thin mixture
1 pound crabmeat
4 tablespoons mayonnaise
juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese for topping
paprika
sliced almonds (optional) for topping
Blend softened cream cheese, sour cream and mayonnaise. Add dry mustard, Worcestershire sauce, grated Cheddar cheese for mixture, and juice of lemon. Mix thoroughly. Add milk to mixture. Fold in crabmeat to mixture. Pour mixture into buttered 2 quart casserole dish and top with grated Cheddar cheese for topping. Sprinkle paprika on top of mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Top mixture with sliced almonds if desired. Serve with crackers. Makes 1 1/2 quarts.
