Recipe: Lentil Soup
Recipes using Durkee Rosemary Leaves

- 1 bag lentils
- 1 pkg of 4 Polish sausages
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1-2 ribs celery, chopped
- 1 pkg chopped spinach
- 1 qt tomato juice
- 2 qts chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp dried pasley flakes
- dash granulated garlic
- 1/8 tsp oregano
- 1/8 tsp basil
- 2 pinches of rosemary, crushed
- salt and pepper to taste
Wash and sort lentils. Simmer lentils, onion, celery, tomato juice, chicken broth, and spices until the lentils are tender. Add chopped spinach and the polish sausage, thinly sliced. Heat until the flavors are blended and the soup is very hot. Makes a large 6-8 qt. stock pot of soup.
Servings: 8-10
You may use some beef broth if desired.
