Traditional Brewing Method
(Each 1 ounce bag makes 1 gallon of Lipton Iced Tea)

1. Place 1 Lipton Iced Tea Bag in a clean sanitized^* container for each gallon of iced tea desired.
2. Pour 1 quart of boiling water  for each gallon of iced tea desired. Let steep for 3 to 5 minutes.
3. Carefully remove the hot tea bag(s) and add 3 quarts of fresh cold tap water for each tea bag used.

^*For Food Service Environments: It's important to clean tea equipment  thoroughly to prevent bacteria growth. Clean and sanitize the equipment everyday. Clean lid, reservoir, and faucet well then sanitize inside and outside surfaces. . To sanitize prepare a sanitizing solution of 2 capfuls of chlorine bleach for each 1 gallon of warm water. Fill container and let sit for 3 to 5 minutes, then drain and rinse thoroughly.
