This is a blend of McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning with 33% less sodium than regular Grill Mates Montreal Steak Seasoning and without any added MSG. Containing the same robust blend of gourmet spices and seasonings as regular Montreal Steak Seasoning with less salt and still captures the bold, savory flavor of steaks served in Old Montreal.

While it is relatively easy to use less salt in your meals, retaining the flavor requires a lot of expertise. McCormick, the flavor experts, have blended this lower sodium blend of herbs and spices to a high standard. It's been tested with foodservice operators, and back-of-the house restaurant  staff from all segments of the food industry.  McCormick  listened to the feedback, made adjustments to the formula and the result is this blend that 94% of respondents felt met their needs, 97% felt was versatile and 100% said would use daily.
