No Knead Batter Bread
- 5 cups warm water
- 4 1/2 tsp dry yeast
- 8 tbsp sugar
- 8 tbsp butter, softened
- 8 tsp sea salt
- 12 cups flour
To make No Knead Batter Bread
- Combine warm water (about 85° F.) and dry yeast in large bowl. Let stand a 10 - 15 minutes.
- Add sugar, butter, sea salt and 6 cups flour. Mix with electric mixer 3 minutes on high speed. Scrape bowl.
- Stir in 6 cups flour with wooden spoon until smooth.
- Cover bowl with a damp cloth and let rise in warm place until double in size. Stir down with wooden spoon.
- Grease loaf pans and spoon dough in pans about half full.
- With floured hands shape dough in pans. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise to top of pan.
- Bake at 375° for 45 minutes for large loaves or 30 minutes for small loaves.
