Mix together the ingredients lists above for meatball.
Shape into 1 inch balls and place on a plate covered with waxed paper.
Brown meatballs in olive oil.
Meanwhile, make the sauce by combining tomato paste with water; then add onion powder, garlic powder, basil,
salt, pepper, and sugar.
Pour the mixed sauce over meatballs, cover, and reduce heat. Simmer slowly for 1 1/2 hours. Check the pan and add additional water, if the sauce drys out.
