Ingredients in Peanut Butter Fudge I

• 2 cups white sugar
• 2 tbsp white Karo syrup
• 3/4 cup whole milk
• pinch of salt
• 1/3 peanut butter
• 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

To make Peanut Butter Fudge I

1. Combine sugar, Karo syrup, milk, and salt in a saucepan.
2. Cook on high heat, stirring often, until mix reaches soft ball stage^*
3. Set aside and let cool until pan is comfortable to touch.
4. Add peanut butter and vanilla.
5. Beat hard until candy loses its shine and starts to thicken.
6. Pour into a buttered 7x7 inch square pan.
7. Let the pan set until firm, then cut intil 2x2 squares.
