Pickled Pepper Ingredients
- green peppers
- 1 pint vinegar
- 1 pint water
- 1/4 cup salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- canola oil
To make Pickled Pepper
- Wash peppers, remove seeds and cut in quarters.
- Pour boiling water over the pepper quarters and let stand for 5 minutes.
- Combine the vinegar, water, salt, and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Drain the pepper quarters and pack in pint jars.
- Add 1/4 cup canola oil to each jar.
- Pour the boiling syrup into each jar of peppers and seal.
