Pizza Appetizer Fondue
This is a quick and easy to make appetizer made with ingredients on hand in many homes, except for the Italian bread, so it can be made on the spur of the moment.
- 32 ounce jar of meatless prepared spaghetti sauce
- 8 ounce package of shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated (fresh) Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp dry minced onions
- 2 tsp oregano leaves
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
- 1 loaf of Italian bread, cut into 1 inch cubes
To make Pizza Appetizer Fondue Recipe
- Start about 20 minutes before serving.
- Combine the spaghetti sauce, Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, dry minced onions, oregano leaves, and garlic salt in a fondue pot (or a large double boiler).
- Heat until all of the cheeses are melted and the sauce is hot. Stir often.
Serve Pizza Appetizer Fondue with the Italian bread cubes. Let your guests dip the bread cubes into the cheese sauce, and place the cubes on a small dish to cool some before eating.
