1 whole chicken cut up
1 box (10 ozs) cheddar cheese flavored crackers
2 tbsps poppy seeds
pepper to taste
3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
1. Crush crackers to make fine crumbs; mix with poppy seeds and pepper.
2. Dip chicken pieces in melted butter to cover well.
3. Generously coat each piece with crumb mixture.
4. Place chicken pieces on flat shallow baking sheet so that pieces are not touching.
5. Bake uncovered for 1 hour or until chicken is brown and tender.
