Recipe: Pork Chops and Apple in Wine

- 6 pork chops
- salt and pepper
- 6 apple slices, 1/3 inch thick
- 2 1/2 tbsps brown sugar
- 1/2 cup burgundy
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Arrange pork chops in shallow baking dish, season with salt and pepper.
- Bake pork chops until brown on both sides.
- Place apple slices on chops and sprinkle with sugar.
- Reduce heat to 325 degrees.
- Pour 1/4 cup wine over chops and bake 10 mins.
- Add remaining wine and bake 15-20 mins.
- Baste from time to time.
