1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1-1/2 cups shredded apple
1 cup canned pumpkin
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp ground ginger
powdered sugar
Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in apple and pumpkin. Stir together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and spices. Add to pumpkin mixture, stirring until well combined. Turn into greased and floured 8" fluted tube pan. Bake in 350° F oven for 55 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes, remove from pan and cool on wire rack. Sift powdered sugar over cooled cake.
