1 9 inch pie shell
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups pumpkin
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp unbleached flour
2 eggs
1/2 tbsp salt
1/4 cup whiskey
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
2. Cream together butter, sugar, and flour.
3. Add eggs. Mix well.
4. Sitr in the rest of the ingredients. Mix well.
5. Pour into pie shell.
6. Bake in oven 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 375 degrees and bake for an additional 45 minutes.
Serve with vanilla ice cream or fresh whipped cream.
