1 pastry shell
1 tbsp melted butter or margarine
1/4 lb Swiss cheese, shredded
20 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups heavy cream
3/4 tsp salt
dash nutmeg
pinch of sugar
pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
1. Brush pastry shell with butter.
2. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
3. Pour mixture into pie shell.
4. Bake for 15 mins.
5. Reduce oven temperature to 300 degrees for 40 mins or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
