1 cup flour, sifted
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 package sweet cooking chocolate, 4 ounces
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 packages cream cheese, 3 ounces (softened)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/4 teaspoon orange extract
Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Melt chocolate over low heat. Cool chocolate slightly. In large bowl gradually add softened cheese to sugar. Beat well until light and fluffy. Add eggs, flour mixture and orange extract. Measure 1/2 cup batter and set aside. Add melted chocolate and vanilla to remaining batter. Spread about 1/2 chocolate batter in greased 8 inch square baking pan. Drop cheese batter from a teaspoon over chocolate batter in pan, spread to form thin layer. Carefully spread remaining chocolate batter over cheese batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until top springs back when lightly pressed.
