Sausage Appetizer Ingredients
Boil linguica in casing for approximately 20 minutes. Remove from heat and drain. Remove from casing and crumble sausage, cheddar cheese, celery and enough mayonnaise to bind mixture. With floured rolling pin, roll out dough (crescent rolls) on floured board until flat and approximately double in size. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of sausage mixture into each piece of dough and fold in half (like turnover); press edges of dough together with fork and prick center of turnover. Brush each turnover with melted butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and a dash of paprika. Bake at 375° until golden. Cut each turnover in thirds when cooled. One package of biscuits will make 24 appetizers.
