8 oz sour cream
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup crushed pecans
1/2 lb butter
2 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsps baking powder
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Grease 2 round 9" cake pans
1. Mix sour cream and baking soda; set aside.
2. Mix 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon and pecans; set aside.
3. Combine remaining ingredients.
4. Add sour cream mixture; blend well.
5. Put 1/4 of the batter in each pan.
6. Top with 1/4 of the cinnamon mixture.
7. Repeat with batter then cinnamon mixture for each pan.
8. Bake for 30 - 40 mins.
