6 oz spaghetti noodles
1/3 cup grated cheese
1 cup ricotta cheese
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 (8 oz) can diced tomatoes
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp garlic salt
2 tbsp butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
1 tsp oregano leaves
1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
1. Cook spaghetti noodles and drain.
2. Stir butter, cheese and eggs into spaghetti.
3. Form spaghetti mixture into crust-like shape in a 10 inch pie dish.
4. Spread ricotta cheese over bottom of noodle crust.
5. In a non-stick skillet cook ground beef, onion, and pepper until brown. Drain off any fat.
6. Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano and garlic salt; heat through.
7. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
8. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake 5 minutes longer until cheese melts.
