6 large Tomatoes
1 tbsp Butter or Margarine
2 tbsps chopped Onion
2 tbsps Green or Red Pepper
1 cup soft Bread Crumbs
Salt and Pepper to taste
1/4 tsp Thyme
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
1. Cut out centers of tomatoes. Save
2. Saute chopped onion and pepper in butter; when slightly cooked add saved tomatoe centers.
3. Add bread crumbs and thyme to mixture; heat through.
4. Fill tomatoes with mixture.
5. Dot butter on top of tomatoes.
6. Bake 1 hour in pan set in pan of water.
