Recipe: Toffee Bars
Recipes using Rodelle Vanilla Extract

- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 egg, separated
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 chopped walnuts
To make Toffee Bars Recipe:
- Preheat oven to 275° F.
- Grease 15 1/2" x 10 1/2" jellyroll pan.
- In a large bowl measure all ingredients except egg white and nuts.
- With mixer at medium speed beat ingredients until well mixed. Put into pan evenly.
- In cup with fork beat egg white slightly. Brush over top of dough.
- Sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
- Bake Toffee Bars for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Immediately cut Toffee Bars into squares (about 50 ).
- Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
- Store Toffee Bars in a tightly covered in pan for 3 days before serving.
